Generally, in person consultations are not necessary. If an in person consultation is needed prior to your appointment date Kody will contact you to set up a date and time that works for you to come in and discuss your tattoo further.

All appointments require a non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment date and time.
This is not an additional expense, all deposits will be deducted from the final cost of the tattoo the day of the appointment.
Deposits will be collected at the time of scheduling your appointment.

Kody typically books in half day and full day blocks
Half days (3 hours) priced $600
Full day rate (6 hours) priced $1200
If your tattoo requires less time than one of the above mentioned flat rate blocks, Kody may price it hourly at a rate of $200 per hour or give you a flat rate for the piece.

Cash is the preferred method of payment, but Kody also accepts Venmo and credit/debit card payments. Card payments will have a 5% fee.
If paying cash, please come prepared, there is not an atm on site.

Kody asks clients for creative freedom with their ideas to create tattoos that are unique to the individual wearer. Kody understands there maybe things you may really want to include and things you may really not want to include. Please include these in your initial inquiry (ie: I prefer peonies not roses)
It is not unusual to not see your design until the day of your appointment.

If needed you can reschedule your appointment with 48 hour minimum notice.
If you cancel or reschedule in that 48 hour period before your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited and you will need to pay another deposit to rebook.
If you reschedule before that 48 hour period your deposit will be transferred to your rescheduled appointment date.
Deposits may not be transferred to another person other than the original appointment holder.

Kody prefers to finish large scale projects with in a 6-12 month period as his style and technique is constantly evolving, this ensures your project is cohesive, flows nicely and heals consistently. It is recommended when starting your project to book at minimum your first 3 appointments.

Cover ups are an art in themselves. Due to the nature of style Kody works in, he only takes on cover ups with previous laser treatments, blast over type “cover ups”, heavy black designs/blackout designs or otherwise small, light tattoos.

Unfortunately at this time Kody is unable to take walk-ins. If he have a last minute cancellation he will announce it on Instagram and/or through his mailing list, so keep your eyes peeled!

Kody’s preferred styles are:
Black and grey Neotraditional,
Blackwork,
American Traditional (black or color)
Black and grey realism.
Kody will work in other styles if requested but primarily focuses on the styles listed above. If Kody is not comfortable in the style requested, for what ever reason, he will happily refer you to another artist who would align more with your vision.

Kody works in a small private studio, please limit your company to 1 additional person.
